Real Estate Salesperson’s Requirements:
Potential real estatesalespersons must complete a 45-hour NY State Real Estate Licensing Course beforeapplying for a NY State license. NY State mandates 90% attendance for course credit.Applicants for NYS Salesperson license must be at least 18 years of age and be sponsoredby a licensed NY State broker. The NY Dept. of State administers the Salesperson'sLicensing Examination. Failure to make application for licensure within two years fromthe date of the state examination will invalidate the results of your test.

RES0101 Real Estate Salesperson License Qualifying Course
Qualify to become a licensed NY State real estate sales person with this certified course.Students intending to get a license and/or those with no previous training will learn about real estate instruments, law of agency, contract law, closing and related costs, financing procedures, valuation and listing and other subjects included in the 45 hoursalesperson curriculum. You must attend 90% of classroom instruction to remain eligible for license credit. Textbook required.
